Hi! I’m Ella Grace Ford, the founder of Crocheted By Grace.

My crochet journey began when I was just 10 years old, during a weekend visit with my grandfather, better known to me as Pawpaw. He shared his love of crocheting with me, teaching me my very first chain stitch. What started as a simple lesson quickly grew into a passion that has become one of my favorite creative outlets.

I began by making hats in all shapes and sizes, and before long I discovered the joy of creating cuddly plushies. Watching Pawpaw sell his handmade creations at local markets inspired me to dream of having a booth of my own.

With the help of my mom, that dream became a reality. Together we designed my first market booth and named my business after my middle name, because every stitch is made with care, creativity, and grace. That’s how Crocheted By Grace was born.

In the fall of 2024, I attended my very first craft market. I was only 11 years old, and I couldn’t believe the support I received! Customers loved my handmade creations, and many began requesting custom orders for gifts, special occasions, and one-of-a-kind keepsakes. Before long, family, friends, and new customers were sharing my work and helping my little business grow.

Today, Crocheted By Grace has grown beyond anything I imagined. What started with a single crochet hook and a lesson from my Pawpaw has become a small business built on creativity, family, and love. In 2026, we’re excited to open our online shop so we can share my handmade creations with customers near and far.
